Achiote is a full spectrum botanical
tea that can be extracted in heated
water . Add one teaspoon of
dried herb to 16 ounces of boiling
water . Stir in
herbs then remove from heat. Allow to steep until fully colored and flavored with the essence of the
herb (at least 5 minutes. Strain,sweeten or
flavor if desired. Serve warm or allow to cool and store in the refrigerator. Typically 1 to 4 cups of
achiote tea are taken daily.
