Stovetop cooking instructions(recommended. Combine 0.5 cup rice cereal ,1 0.75 cups water and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Serves two. Microwave oven cooking instructions. Pour 0.75 cup water into a 2 cup microwave-suitable dish. Stir in 0.25 cup rice cereal . Add a pinch of salt if desired. Cook on high power 1 minute,uncovered;stir. Cook up to 1 minute more,stirring every 30 seconds until liquid is absorbed and cereal is cooked. Bowl will be hot! protect hands and use caution when removing from microwave.
